Dr. Sanmi Koyejo, PhD

Dr. Sanmi Koyejo is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University and the Co-Founder and Head of AI of Virtue AI. He was previously a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind for six years and an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he remains an Adjunct Associate Professor. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Association for Health Learning and Inference and as President of the Board of Directors of Black in AI. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, where his research applied machine learning to neuroimaging and disease gene prioritization.
