01 / Context

Overview

The strongest operators in a distributed organization already know a great deal about what works. A location lead can recognize a pattern in performance; an experienced rep can identify the next useful move; a coach can help someone act on an uncomfortable finding. The challenge is making that knowledge available and useful across every location and team.

Simplify helps multi-location and distributed-sales organizations turn operational data into clear, prioritized actions. Its ProNavigator platform looks across the organization, identifies what the best operators do differently, and delivers location-specific recommendations. As that work expands, Simplify has to scale both the preparation behind the guidance and the conversation that turns guidance into action.

02 / The bottleneck

The challenge

Good coaching starts before a user opens the platform. Someone has to research prospective customers, prepare recommendations for each location, and keep the playbooks current as the business learns. Analysts and enablement teams repeat that preparation across a growing number of organizations and sites. Generic content cannot replace guidance tied to a location's actual performance.

Even a good recommendation can stall at the point of action. A manager may chase a less useful number, resist a finding because it leads to a difficult conversation, or put off a decision. Delivering another answer does not resolve that problem. The coaching has to identify the most valuable next action, explain it, and help the user follow through.

Simplify needed those two halves to work together. Background preparation had to stay grounded in its own data and playbooks, and the live coach had to carry that same methodology into the session. What the conversation revealed then needed a path back into the shared knowledge, without letting unreviewed changes redefine how the business coaches.

03 / The workflow

The solution

Simplify built a portfolio of agents on ACTAVA KORA. Three background agents handle prospect research, coaching recommendation content, and playbook upkeep. A conversational coach inside ProNavigator guides users toward the highest-value action for their location or team and follows up on the commitments they make.

The engagement expanded to ACTAVA's enterprise tier as Simplify added live coaching to the background work. Simplify owns the methodology, coaching rules, and definition of good performance. ACTAVA develops the agents and the platform beneath them, with an engineer working alongside Simplify's team and delivering tested increments.

How the coaching portfolio works

Swipe to see the full diagram

  1. Step 1: Research the right prospects

The go-to-market agent researches companies from public information, evaluates fit against Simplify's defined customer profile, checks disqualifiers, and returns a report with evidence behind each rating.

  2. Step 2: Prepare location-specific guidance

The recommendation agent turns already-calculated metrics into a short headline, an explanation of why the finding matters locally, and a description of success. The content draws on Simplify's playbook library.

  3. Step 3: Open with the priority

Before a coaching session, the conversational agent identifies the single most valuable next action for that user. It starts there, using the user's role and ProNavigator data to frame the conversation.

  4. Step 4: Coach the decision

The coach clarifies ambiguous requests, grounds figures in records retrieved for that turn, and explains supported findings when a user pushes back. It keeps the conversation focused on a useful action.

  5. Step 5: Follow through and learn

The coach checks whether committed actions happened and brings that context into the next session. Its knowledge-curation role distills session findings into shared knowledge; the playbook agent proposes evidence-backed changes for a person to approve.

The conversational coach is one agent with four roles: coach, session opener, accountability follow-up, and knowledge curator. Each answer is checked against retrieved records before it reaches the user. Unsupported figures are regenerated or withheld. Tool-level access keeps each user's data within their role and isolates client information.

Playbook changes remain proposals until a person approves them. Each proposal includes the previous and proposed wording, supporting evidence, and confidence. Simplify maintains its coaching methodology as versioned, testable skills, so it can change the rules without waiting for a platform deployment.

The engagement helped bring real-time answer checks, multi-turn conversational simulation, session hooks, and session capture into KORA's standard capabilities. Every release can be tested through conversations, and the platform delivers turns, sources, and tool calls into Simplify's own system. The capabilities ship as part of KORA rather than a separate system Simplify has to maintain.

ACTAVA lets us take what our best operators already know and put it in front of every rep and every location, without losing the human judgment that makes the coaching worth trusting.

04 / The impact

The result

Simplify now has a connected path from finding suitable customers to preparing their coaching, delivering it live, and keeping it current. Background agents produce consistent prospect assessments and location-specific recommendations. The live coach helps each user work through the next decision and returns to the commitments made in the session.

The preparation and the conversation reinforce each other. Reps spend less time on manual prospect research; coaches receive guidance tied to the location; and users have a live conversation focused on the move that matters. Follow-up makes a commitment part of the next session, while field experience informs proposed improvements to the playbook.

The operating model also keeps Simplify's differentiation in its own hands. Its team controls the methodology and can refine it as field experience accumulates, while ACTAVA maintains the governed, testable platform. The best operators' knowledge becomes easier to distribute and use without giving up the human judgment or business ownership that makes it valuable.
